Virtual Reality Multi-Sensory Wildflower Experience

We wanted to use our 2019 RHS installation to raise awareness to the positive impact we gain from nature and the benefits this can have on our wellbeing, whilst also highlighting the need for more wild ‘Well-Beeing’ spaces, providing food and habits for our insect pollinators.

Our Well-Beeing installation explores how we might use synthetic natural environments to bring the benefit of getting outdoors to those who may not currently be able to. The installation will hopefully continue after the flower shows taking this multi-sensory wild flower meadow to other locations like hospices, NHS centres and care homes.

Our synthetic meadow uses the latest computer gaming hardware, 4D cinema technology, aroma diffusing and software engineering with an installation created by a diverse team, which includes 3D experts, software coders, local artists, plant experts, family members and friends. All playing a part in the creating of this installation. A few photo’s from Chatsworth show Tatton next.
